Freelance Senior Project Manager - Paid Media & Performance Marketing

Contract- Outside IR35 (must be Ltd)

£390 per day 2 days in London, 3 from home. Start ASAP

We are seeking a highly experienced Freelance Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of paid media and performance marketing projects. This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who operates confidently at a senior level and thrives in fast-paced environments.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in delivering projects with a focus on SEO and PPC. You will need to have clear evidence of this on you CV, and a proven background in delivering complex digital marketing projects ideally within a media or marketing agency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of paid media and performance marketing projects

• Support junior Project Managers, providing guidance and structure

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets

• Be a guru with Asana on sit

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to performance goals

• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and clients
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes
• Coordinate reporting and ensure clear communication of progress and outcomes

Required Experience

• Extensive experience operating as a Senior Project Manager within digital, media, or marketing environments
• Strong, demonstrable project delivery experience across paid media and performance marketing
• Clear hands-on exposure to both SEO and PPC (must be evident on CV)
• Proven experience managing and mentoring junior Project Managers
• Strong experience using Asana for project planning and delivery
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills

Desirable Experience

• Background working within a media or marketing agency
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO platforms
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
