Geophysicist Location: London Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits Are you a Geophysicist looking for a hands-on role where you can work with a range of specialist equipment and gain experience across different site investigation projects? A growing specialist consultancy is looking for a Geophysicist to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a developing geophysics department, with plenty of scope to build your technical skills and get involved in a variety of projects. The Role You will work across both fieldwork and technical elements of projects, including: Carrying out geophysical surveys on a range of sites Using GPR, parallel seismic and Ultra Pulse Echo equipment Supporting utility detection and clearance surveys Using CAT & Genny equipment Collecting, processing and interpreting geophysical data Producing technical reports and survey outputs Working alongside geotechnical and site investigation teams Supporting the development of new geophysical services Travelling to sites across London and the wider UKYou will have the opportunity to gain experience with a range of specialist equipment and develop your knowledge across different geophysical techniques. About You Degree in Geophysics, Geology or a related subject Previous experience in geophysics, site investigation or a related field Good understanding of geophysical surveying and data interpretation Strong communication and report-writing skills Comfortable working outdoors and travelling to different sites Full UK driving licence Experience with GPR, CAT & Genny or utility surveying would be beneficialThis role would suit a Geophysicist who enjoys being out on site as well as working on the technical side of projects, and wants the opportunity to develop within a growing specialist team.
