About the Role:


Were looking for dedicated and empathetic Childrens Support Workers who can communicate using BSL to support deaf or hearing-impaired children and young people. Youll provide emotional, behavioural, and practical support helping each child to express themselves, build confidence, and achieve their potential in a safe and nurturing setting.


Key Responsibilities:


Use BSL to communicate effectively with deaf or hearing-impaired children and young people.


Support children in developing social, emotional, and independence skills.


Build strong, trusting relationships with children and professionals involved in their care.


Work collaboratively with teachers, social workers, and health professionals to ensure consistent support.


Uphold safeguarding principles and respond promptly to any concerns.


Maintain accurate and professional records in line with policy and guidance.
