Social & Creative Strategy Team Lead
Are you ready to shape the creative performance strategy for leading retail brands? Looking to step into a leadership role where creative strategy drives measurable commercial growth?
We are looking for a Social & Creative Strategy Team Lead, with passion for eCommerce and retail, to join our growing team. In this role you'll get the closeness, the culture, and the energy of a tight-knit 30-person London team combined with the ambition, resources, and client portfolio of a leading European agency behind you.
As our new Social & Creative Strategy Team Lead, you'll lead Social Creative strategy while mentoring a team of specialists, to deliver on the vision on some of the most exciting global brands, such as Joe & The Juice, LEGO, Sephora, schuh, Hello Fresh, Wrangler and New Era.
Driving strategy, commercial impact, and specialist growth
In this role, you will be a key part of driving the UK Paid Social & Creative service offering. You will be working directly with your own team to deliver on this vision, as well as leading the Social Creative strategy on some of our most complex brands. Beyond strategy, you will take ownership of team development, client partnerships, and agency frameworks.
To give you an idea of where you'll spend your time each month, the role is made up of three key pillars:
Creative & Social Strategy:
Lead the Creative & Social Performance strategy on 5-6 clients, ensuring work ladders up to broader commercial and brand goals.
Deliver, and optimise Creative Roadmaps that directly tie into wider business goals, proactively identifying opportunities, challenges, and solutions.
Develop robust creative concept sessions, coming up with winning ad ideas that you brief into production and leading continuous testing and iteration cycles in close partnership with the Studio team.
Team Leadership:
Directly manage a team of 4+ Specialists and lead departmental recruitment.
Translate agency goals into a clear vision that gives every team member a "why," ensuring everyone sees how their unique contribution helps us win.
Role-model the s360 DNA establishing rituals that reinforce a high-performing and positive environment.
Client & Product Leadership:
Build trusted partnerships by proactively steering client discussions, owning insights, and communicating with clarity.
Lead high-level commercial conversations, including scope changes and repricing, ensuring Paid Social work remains impactful for clients and profitable for the agency.
Lead high-stakes pitches and strategy resets, translating Paid Social & Creative audits into a compelling commercial narrative for Executive Leadership.
Define and refine repeatable frameworks and playbooks across Creative & Social to ensure high-value work remains sustainable and profitable.
What you bring to the team
You bring the confidence to lead complex brand strategies while keeping team mentorship at the centre of your day-to-day work.
While we do not believe in rigid checklists, we’d like you to bring the following to the team:
Strategic Performance Expertise: 7+ years in industry, with at least 5 years experience in a strategic role in performance creative, paid social, growth strategy or media buying - ideally exposure to all of them.
Creative Strategy & Growth: Strong understanding of the changing Social ecosystem, and the role creative strategy plays in driving growth.
Brand Scaling: Direct experience growing DTC or Ecom brands through Creative Performance strategy.
Proven Team Leadership: Management experience with leading, shaping and motivating a team.
