School Receptionist – Outstanding Secondary School – Camden, North London

An outstanding secondary school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking to appoint a professional and welcoming School Receptionist to become the first point of contact for students, staff, parents and visitors.
This role is central to the smooth operation of the school office and would suit an organised and friendly individual who enjoys working in a busy and people-focused environment.
The successful candidate will represent the school at reception and ensure that visitors and members of the school community receive a professional and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and students at reception
• Manage incoming phone calls, emails and general enquiries
• Provide administrative support to the school office and leadership team
• Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and safeguarding protocols
• Support student attendance administration and record keeping
• Assist with managing school communications and correspondence
• Maintain accurate records using the school’s management information system
• Provide administrative support during school events and meetings
• Support the organisation of parents’ evenings and school activities
• Manage deliveries, post and general office duties
• Provide assistance to staff and students when required
• Ensure the reception area remains organised and welcoming

• Previous experience working in a receptionist or administrative role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
