Early Years Practitioner role now available to start at a welcoming and inclusive nursery located in Dulwich, South East London.
This is a lovely nursery, with a very supportive management team and friendly staff you will be welcomed into the family-feel community! Working closely with the passionate team of staff who are dedicated to Early Years, you should share that same passion, dedication and knowledge of EYFS.
Working full-time as an Early Years Practitioner, you will be:
- Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration
- Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
- Providing a stimulating, supportive and safe environment that allows children to grow and learn
- Assisting with the development of early maths skills
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and supporting the nursery management team
- Observing and assessing children’s progress
- Providing general care and support for children in the nursery
- Carrying out risk assessments throughout the day
This is a permanent position for the successful Early Years Practitioner to work full time (Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week), with a salary starting at £24k to £28k per annum. It is essential that you hold a minimum of a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is important.
