Nanny needed for school runs, Job ID J1E6A4
This lovely family based in Ealing, London, is looking for an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties, such as walking the child home (approximately 10 minutes), engaging in play, assisting with homework, and preparing simple meals. Additional hours may be available before school pick-up for light housework, depending on the candidate’s preference. The family is flexible with days and hours for the right candidate. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Any 2 or 3 days Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (additional hours available for candidates willing/able to assist with light housework). Additional hours available during school holidays (to be agreed)
Duties include:
- Picking the children up from school and transporting them safely to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene routines for the children
- Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development at all times
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
- Supporting bedtime routines and helping the children settle to sleep
- Encouraging early literacy and a love for reading by sharing books together
- Providing homework assistance and promoting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and development
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Completing light household tasks such as emptying the dishwasher, washing the children’s bedding weekly, and ironing school shirts
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s dietary needs
This lovely family is looking to hire by mid-November or early December 2025.
