Launched in 2021 by a team of Emmy award-winning innovators with a strong track record in sports technology, Bolt6 is dedicated to improving the experience of sport for everyone.
Our products enhance fan engagement , officiating accuracy , and commercial performance for sports leagues and federations across the world.
We use cutting-edge technology to capture, process, and visualize real-time data from cameras and sensors , including:
- Tracking the 3D position of golf balls and player movements throughout a course in real time;
- Skeletal tracking of golfers to analyse swing mechanics and improve broadcast insights;
- Providing platforms for golf tours and governing bodies to review and validate officiating decisions using video and sensor data.

As we expand into golf technology , you will play a key role in developing, testing, and deploying systems used at elite tournaments and major golf events around the world - helping enhance how the game is played, analysed, and experienced.

Role Requirements
We’re searching for motivated, proactive individuals with a passion for both technology and golf - people who thrive in high-pressure environments and maintain exceptional standards while delivering innovative solutions to sporting federations, broadcasters, and tours.
What You Will Do as an Operations Engineer (Golf)
- Operate Bolt6 golf technology for major golf tours, federations, and broadcasters around the world.
- Travel internationally to deliver our products on-site at LIV tournaments, ensuring reliable setup, operation, and breakdown.
- Work remotely to support other sporting events that do not require on-site presence.
- Lead live testing with customers , including player tracking, swing analysis, and video synchronization tests at courses and driving ranges.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real time during live coverage or data collection.
- Provide feedback to improve tracking algorithms, calibration tools, and event workflows.
- Support large-scale deployments by:
- Assisting with equipment design and logistics (e.g. camera rigs across fairways or greens);
- Testing and documenting new software releases;
- Managing kit shipping, inventory, and scheduling;
- Collaborating with engineers and operations staff to ensure seamless delivery.
- Contribute to new product development , such as:
- Creating tools for automated swing data capture or live leaderboard integration;
- Working with software teams to develop real-time visual overlays for golf broadcasts.
What We Are Looking For
Required Attributes:
- Self-starter with initiative; able to manage projects independently.
- Confident decision-maker in dynamic, live-event environments.
- Intellectually curious, with a strong technical problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - especially when working with broadcast teams, officials, or golf event staff.
- Flexible working attitude (including travel, weekends, and varying schedules).
- Highly organized and calm under pressure.
Nice to Have:
- A genuine love of golf and understanding of the sport’s rules and structure.
- Experience in live event operations , broadcast , or sports analytics .
- Project management experience or relevant certifications.
