Senior Software Procurement Consultant (Digital Supply Chain)

As a Software Procurement Consultant , you'll play a key role in advising clients on strategic software sourcing. You'll collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the procurement of solutions that align with business needs, budgets, and goals. Your software licensing, negotiation, and vendor management expertise will drive cost-effective and efficient procurement processes.
What You’ll Do:Advise clients on strategic software sourcing by collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to align solutions with business needs, budgets, and goals.
Identify software requirements, evaluate and recommend vendors based on offerings, reputation, and value for money, and act as a liaison to optimise vendor performance and resolve challenges.
Provide expert guidance on licensing models (SaaS, perpetual, subscription), recommend optimal agreements, and stay current on market trends and emerging technologies.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses, negotiate favourable pricing, terms, conditions, and renewals, and drive savings through licence consolidation and optimisation.
Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycles to ensure compliance, manage renewals and amendments, maintain accurate procurement records, and support additional duties as assigned by leadership.
