We’re working with a friendly and welcoming primary school who are looking for a confident Year 5 teacher with a strong focus on maths to join their team on a maternity cover basis, with the opportunity to move into a full-time ongoing role.This position will start Thursdays and Fridays starting ASAP, moving into full-time from 16th March onwards, offering continuity, impact and a great chance to embed strong maths practice.The role at a glance Teaching Year 5, with a particular strength and focus on mathsThursdays and Fridays initially, becoming full-time from 16th MarchDelivering engaging, well-structured maths lessons that support progressWorking collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistency across the year groupJoining a well-organised classroom with supportive leadership and clear planning What we’re looking for A qualified primary teacher with strong maths subject knowledgeConfidence teaching maths across Year 5 and KS2Experience in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5A positive, flexible approach, well suited to maternity cover that becomes ongoing Why this school?
