Role Overview:
To ensure the timely and accurate production of all data. Ensuring all service level agreements are met and improved where possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Live Production system

• Oversee the complete ETL (extract Transform Load) process

• Reporting any failures / issues / defects via reporting tool

• Review and keep documentation up to date

• Understanding processes (data flow)

• SQL Querying the databases to see the changes made and comparing results

• Production of several database types for various platforms.

• Maintenance of databases

• Testing and QA of all databases and data feeds

• Database backups and housekeeping

• UAT of production software upgrades

• UAT of schema changes in production

Key Requirements:

• Microsoft Edge / Google Chrome

• Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel, word)

• Microsoft SQL Server or SQLBase

• Knowledge of networks, FTP tools

• Can demonstrate attention to detail and strong completion skills

• Able to prioritise workloads and respond to tight deadlines

• Willing to take responsibility for ensuring delivery of a quality service

• Powershell desirable not essential

• Synapse desirable not essential
