Graduate Associate, Contentious Insolvency

Interpath Advisory
London

Interpath Advisory is a leading financial advisory firm focused on delivering tailored solutions to complex business challenges. Our Restructuring Advisory team is recognized for its expertise in navigating intricate financial scenarios, particularly in the area of contentious insolvency.

As a Graduate Associate in the Contentious Insolvency team, you will have the unique opportunity to engage in high-stakes situations where financial restructuring intersects with legal disputes. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in managing contentious insolvency cases, working closely with both financial and legal professionals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management of contentious insolvency matters, including assessments of shareholder disputes, fraudulent conveyances, and misfeasance claims.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis to inform case strategy and evaluating the implications of financial and legal data.
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation and presentations for client meetings and court proceedings.
  • Collaborating with senior teams to develop insights that guide our clients through complex insolvency processes.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders, including clients, legal counsel, and creditors, to facilitate effective communication and resolution.
  • Staying abreast of regulatory changes and legal developments impacting contentious insolvency.

This role is designed for individuals looking to gain a foothold in the finance and legal sectors while working within a supportive and challenging environment.

Although this role is aligned to a specific office, it forms part of a national team. Your primary office location will be the office you applied to; however, travel may be required in line with business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) in law, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail in financial and legal matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, displaying effective interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in insolvency law, restructuring, or contentious legal matters; experience in this area is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Application deadline date: Friday 28th February 2026
