A Hands-On Role Within a Supportive Science Department
An established independent school in Brent is looking for an organised and practical Science Technician to join its dedicated Science Department.
With small class sizes, well-equipped laboratories and a supportive teaching team, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the practical side of Science and wants to work in a more personal school environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing practical experiments and demonstrations
Setting up and clearing laboratories
Supporting teachers during practical lessons
Maintaining laboratory equipment
Managing chemicals and scientific resources
Monitoring stock and placing orders
Maintaining COSHH and health & safety records
Keeping prep rooms organised
Supporting students during practical activities
Helping the Science Department run smoothly

About You
Previous experience as a Science Technician in a school or laboratory environment would be advantageous.
You'll need to be organised, practical and confident working across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with a good understanding of laboratory health and safety.
