Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion)
What skills and experience we're looking for
Grange Primary School is seeking a leader with the drive, experience and knowledge to lead inclusion across the school. We wish to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who can lead our Inclusion team (Assistant SENDCo -managing the main school EHCP caseload, Inclusion Officer, and SRP lead teacher) whilst also coaching our mainstream staff in inclusive practices. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in adapting classroom practice to meet needs, who can coach teachers and TAs to develop innovative, sustainable and low-cost everyday changes to meet needs. You will also understand the graduated approach, statutory assessment, and the EHCP process, having experience as a SENDCo or similar. Further information can be found at:Further details about the role Grange Primary School is entering an exciting new phase from September 2026, with the opening of our new Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP). As a part of Ealing’s strategy to ensure local SEND provision for its children, Grange Primary will be opening an SRP, for children primarily with a diagnosis of Speech, Language and Communication needs or Autism. You would be the strategic lead for the SRP, working closely with the Lead Teacher to ensure quality of provision and collaborative working. Visits to the school are actively encouraged.
