Nanny

A warm and professional family is looking for a kind, experienced and adaptable career nanny to join their family and care for their two children, a 9-week-old baby girl and a 3-year-old boy.
Mum is currently on maternity leave and is keen to introduce a nanny into the family as soon as possible, allowing the nanny and children to build a strong relationship from the outset. This is a very child-focused role for an experienced nanny who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and toddlers.
The ideal candidate will be confident caring for a young baby, supporting her routines and development and, when the time comes, helping with weaning. They will also enjoy keeping an energetic 3-year-old active and engaged throughout the day. He is a happy, active little boy who loves going to the park, playing ball sports and feeding the ducks, as well as enjoying indoor creative activities, games and imaginative play.
The family already have a cleaner for 12 hours a week, so there is very little expectation of household cleaning. Ideally, one morning a week could be dedicated to batch cooking healthy, nutritious meals for the children, along with some general child-related errands and organising toys and clothes.
Mum and Dad are both professionals and are looking for someone who will become a valued and trusted part of their family. They are based in a lovely young-family community with very easy access to the park, and there are other nannies in the local area, making it a sociable environment for both nanny and children.
They are looking for someone warm, nurturing, reliable and adaptable, who can fit naturally into their family dynamics and work collaboratively with Mum and Dad. The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified career nanny with strong experience caring for babies and toddlers and a genuine passion for children's development and wellbeing.
The hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–6.30pm. Closest station is Manor Park, and on the tube Forest Gate.
Competitive salary in the region of £60,500 +
