About the Role
As a Senior Audit Manager in the not-for-profit division, you’ll manage a high-profile portfolio of clients ranging from start-ups to household-name charities and educational bodies. You’ll lead audit teams, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice.
This firm offers flexible working arrangements, including part-time options and remote work, with a primary base in the Cotswolds, London or other UK locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple audit engagements across the not-for-profit sector
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
- Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audits within budget and timelines
- Present findings to senior stakeholders, boards, and audit committees
- Coach and mentor junior staff, fostering professional development
- Contribute to business development, proposals, and client pitches
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives and training programs
Candidate Profile
- ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in external audit, ideally within the not-for-profit sector
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Passion for working with purpose-driven organisations
