Head of Implementation Wealth Management

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Technical Manager / Head of Implementation to join our high profile client recently ranked in the top 100 fintech firms.

Our client is the world’s market leader in Wealth Management, Pensions, Life and Broker platforms with offices globally and a worldwide reputation. This role sits within the Wealth Management Group which provides to the major UK pension and life funds.

The role encompasses running the business element of implementations and business changes across major pension funds and wealth managers as well as managing a team of 10. Implementations are varied and on average 3 months long. This role requires strong business experience across large platform / application implementation. You will be capable of speaking to the development and professional services team as well as clients and making sure all goals are achieved on time. Implementations are complex but very varied and interesting we would expect you to have a background in the aforementioned business areas.

This is a hands on and management role.

On a day to day Basis the Head of Implementation will be involved with:

• Planning and managing the team
• Translation of service level requirements and application system requirements into robust reliable business designs in line with application and technology architecture guidelines and strategies.
• Some Sales and pre sales
• Insure the quality of the implementation
• Supplier Management
• Technical Management

Candidates must have:

• At least 2 years commercial experience in a vendor within consultancy or support
• Proven experience within financial vendors ideally the wealth management or back office environment. We are looking for product based implementation not data.
• Technical understanding
• Wealth management experience of either SIPP’s WRAP’s or Unit Trusts ISA’s included. Life insurance as another possibility.
• Strong SQL and database experience
• Understanding of server architecture
• XML
• Experience running standups
• Agile Delivery
