Join Our Team as a Form F Assessor

Are you a qualified social worker looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are expanding our independent fostering services and seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Form F Assessors. This role is crucial in ensuring the best outcomes for children in our care across multiple locations throughout the UK.

About the Role

As a Form F Assessor, you will work closely with independent fostering agencies to assess prospective foster families. Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the welfare of foster children by conducting thorough assessments and producing high-quality, evidence-based reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of prospective foster families.
  • Produce and present detailed, analytical fostering assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with child care legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and the Fostering and Adoption Act 2002.
  • Collaborate with fostering teams to support the placement of children and young people.

Requirements

  • Qualified social worker with significant post-qualification experience in foster parent assessment.
  • Registered with the relevant social work council (e.g., SWE, SSSC).
  • Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Willingness to attend mandatory induction and training days.
  • Access to personal transport and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to pass statutory and company checks as part of the assessment process.
  • Experience in completing and presenting at least one Form F Assessment to Panel is preferred.

Working Conditions
