Jazz Pharmaceuticals are looking for a R&D Process Improvement Summer intern. You will be responsible for driving process improvement efforts across R&D to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Qualification Requirements
Currently enrolled in or already hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field
Salary - £24,000 per annum pro-rata

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm with 60 minute lunch break.

Job Description
This R&D Process Improvement Intern works closely with R&D Process Improvement Manager, Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and author R&D-owned process documents (e.g., SOPs, WIs, etc.). This role is responsible for driving process improvement efforts across R&D to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Assist in creating and updating process documents (e.g., SOPs, Work Instructions) under guidance.
Support process mapping activities using tools like Microsoft Visio.
Help maintain document records in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Contribute to inspection readiness activities and periodic document reviews.
Learn and apply best practices for process improvement and compliance.
Candidate Requirements
Skills
Interest in pharmaceutical/biotechnology R&D processes.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Visio is a plus
