Growth Marketing Associate

Stream
London

Stream was founded with the mission to provide fair financial tools to the everyday worker. Offered through destination employers like Greene King, Bupa, Burger King, Asda and the NHS, our award-winning platform helps over three million people to earn, learn, save, spend and borrow on their own terms, all in one smartphone app.

Stream is unique: VC backed and growing at scale, but with a social conscience. Some of the world's leading impact funds were our founding investors, and we operate on a social charter, which means every product and service we create must measurably improve financial wellbeing.

You’d be joining a team of over 200 passionate, ambitious people across Europe and the USA, building a category-defining product, and united by that same mission.

The Opportunity:

Our workplace loans product is the highest-growth part of the Stream business. Since launch in early 2024 we have saved our members >£15m in lower interest fees, while providing a unique personal loan product with a market-leading NPS of >80.

This role sits at the intersection of growth marketing, analytics, and credit.

You’ll own and evolve organic growth campaigns delivered through the Stream app, using data, experimentation, and thoughtful customer segmentation to drive applications balanced against the overall customer experience of the Stream app and needs of other products.

This is a high-impact role with real ownership. You’ll have clear metrics and goals, and your work will have clear, tangible and immediate member value. You’ll work closely with senior product, growth and credit leaders and be mentored by one of the strongest performers in the team.

What will you be doing?

  • Build, run, and optimise in-app and email growth campaigns that drive credit applications

  • Design and manage customer segmentation to deliver the right message to the right user at the right time

  • Use SQL and BI tools to analyse performance, build dashboards, and self-serve insights

  • Continuously test, iterate, and improve campaign effectiveness and customer experience

  • Balance growth performance with long-term engagement and risk

  • Collaborate closely with Credit, Product, and Growth stakeholders

What experience might you have? (But if you’re close… we'd still love to talk to you!)

  • 2-4 years in growth / performance marketing roles and / or credit marketing roles

  • Analytical / quantitative background eg STEM degree

  • Evidence of delivering ongoing and sustained improvement in organic and paid marketing channels through multi-variant testing, audience segmentation and creative iteration.

  • Familiarity with tools and strategies for driving customer acquisition & retention

  • Strong skills in data analysis to measure campaign effectiveness, optimise strategies, and understand customer behaviours

  • Previous experience in B2C digital businesses and/or fast-paced scale-up environments

  • Fintech experience valued but not essential

  • SQL experience essential

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)

  • A self-sustaining organic growth engine within the app

  • Sophisticated, dynamic customer segmentation and profiling

  • High application volumes delivered in a thoughtful, customer-first way

  • Fresh, well-rotated messaging that improves engagement and reduces friction

  • Clear, data-backed insight into what’s driving growth and why

Working Policy: We operate a hybrid policy with a requirement of three days a week in the London office

Salary: from £50,000 - 70,000 (dependant on experience), + Equity & Benefits

What will we do for you?

  • 25 Days Annual Leave in addition to public holidays (up to 5 day rollover), as well as flexible time off allowances for any ad-hoc childcare/family/caring needs

  • 24 weeks' paid Maternity Leave and 4 weeks paid Paternity Leave for employees with over 12 months service

  • Special Leave for In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) and other fertility treatments

  • Sabbatical scheme

  • Paid leave to volunteer

  • Private Healthcare including comprehensive mental and physical healthcare

  • Salary sacrifice to pension, as well as bonus exchange to Pension: reap even more rewards of any bonus by paying into your pension & save on Tax and NI + added compound growth

  • Season Ticket Loan

  • Access to Salary Sacrifice Schemes via ThanksBen: THE Benefits marketplace. Choose the benefits you want, when you want. Pay less tax, receive more value, including: Workplace nurseries, Cycle to Work, Home and Tech Scheme and more.
