SEN Teacher
Primary SEN Teacher - Ealing
Start Date: Immediate
Daily Rate: £160-£270 (Dependent on Experience)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Location: West London
A well-regarded specialist provision in Ealing is seeking an experienced and committed Primary SEN Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a supportive environment, small class sizes, and a strong leadership team.
The school has been recognised by Ofsted for its inclusive ethos, high standards of care, and effective leadership. Pupils benefit from a nurturing setting with tailored support, and staff are well-supported by a collaborative senior leadership team. Classrooms are calm, structured, and designed to meet the needs of pupils with a range of learning profiles, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a small group of 6 primary-aged pupils with the support of a full-time LSA
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons based on individual EHCP targets
- Develop and review personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies
- Foster a safe, engaging, and trauma-informed learning environment
- Work closely with therapists, families, and external professionals
- Track and report on pupil progress, contributing to review meetings
- Uphold safeguarding and compliance standards at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - not suitable for Early Career Teachers
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly ASD and SEMH
- Strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiation, and behaviour support strategies
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
- Confident, adaptable, and committed to inclusive, child-centred practice
