£90,000 Plus 10% to 40%

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a FrontendJava Developer to join a well known trading firm. No experience of finance is needed, finance isn’t what this firm does, tech is.

Our client is an innovative tech driven trading (Equities and ETF’s) company with a pioneering new concept for the financial markets with their big data technology platform. They have assembled a top team from across the financial markets and are looking to expand to meet high demand from clients. Their trading capital is in the order of multi millions not 3 guys in a shed.

The role:

This role and would suit a candidate with 2-10 years of Frontend Development experience. The successful candidate will be a top tier Frontend developer (or aspiring, half of the team don’t have a comp sic degree) with a passion for solving engineering problems and delivering business functionality. The role will involve design and implementation with real input into business offerings. The work that you will do will have a visible impact and will help define the future of the product. This opportunity is unique and will allow you to be involved in shaping the future of financial technology.

The environment will be agile, fast paced and test driven. You will be encouraged to evangelise and prototype new technologies and approaches to help shape the evolving architecture.

The successful candidate must be:

• Experienced in Java
• HTML CSS
• VUE or GWT
• Highly motivated
• Delivery focused and accountable.

• Hadoop and Flink
• RUST, Javascript, React, Redux, Flow
• Linux, Jenkins
• Kafka, Avro, Kubernetes, Puppet
• Involvement in the Java community

My client is based London. Home work is encouraged but you will need to be able to come to the City if needed.
