Chef - Monday to Friday | Empress State Building Café, London
Contract: Full-Time | Hours: 37.5 per week | Schedule: Monday to Friday (No Weekends)

Salary: £14.71 per hour

We’re currently recruiting a motivated and skilled Chef to join our team at ESB Café in London on a full-time, Monday to Friday basis — offering a great opportunity to achieve true work-life balance with no weekend shifts .

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Chef at ESB Café, you’ll be creating high-quality, nutritious meals in a Defence environment, delivering food that makes a real impact on our clients and customers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing and serving fresh, great-tasting meals
Taking on feedback and helping us continually improve our food offering
Managing stock levels and kitchen inventories
Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and Health & Safety standards are upheld
Overseeing daily kitchen cleanliness and routines
Positively representing ESB Café and the Defence sector

What We’re Looking For:
Our ideal Chef will:

Be passionate about cooking and delivering exceptional food
Have experience in a similar role, ideally in contract catering or high-volume service
Be confident supervising others and working as part of a team
Hold a valid Food Hygiene Certificate
Be reliable, organised, and happy to work Monday to Friday only
