Duration: Until 30 January 2026

Rate: £550 per day

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of major infrastructure works on a high-profile project in central London. This role is ideal for a planning professional with strong civil engineering and utilities experience, capable of driving project performance and maintaining programme integrity across complex construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6

Coordinate planning input across multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met

Provide accurate progress reporting, forecasting, and analysis to project leadership

Work closely with site teams to ensure alignment between on-site delivery and programme updates

Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and delays within the project schedule

Support the preparation of reports, dashboards, and performance reviews

Contribute to continuous improvement in planning and project control processes

Requirements

Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within a main contractor or sub-contractor environment

Background in engineering or operations, ideally within infrastructure or utilities (water, wastewater, gas, or electrical)

Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6

Experience with OPC (Open Project Controls) advantageous

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment

Certifications / Training

CSCS Card (can be obtained if not currently held)
