Commissioning Project Manager

A leading building contractor is appointing an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning of a 40m residential development in West London.
The development comprises 345 apartments across two plots, incorporating S&C distribution together with dedicated amenity and office spaces. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the commissioning process across the M&E package, ensuring that all systems are appropriately tested, witnessed, recorded and brought through to completion and handover.
The position requires close coordination with the project management, engineering and subcontractor teams, with responsibility for maintaining commissioning progress, quality and documentation throughout the project.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the overall commissioning process and associated programme
- Coordinating testing and witnessing activities with relevant stakeholders
- Monitoring quality assurance and commissioning documentation
- Managing outstanding commissioning issues through to resolution
- Liaising with M&E subcontractors and the wider project team
- Providing clear progress reporting to senior project management
- Supporting final completion, certification and handover
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in M&E commissioning, preferably within a main contractor or building services environment. A strong mechanical background is essential, alongside experience working on large–scale construction projects.
This is an opportunity to take a senior role within the delivery team of a significant residential development, with responsibility for ensuring the M&E installation is fully commissioned and ready for occupation.
Salary: 70,000– 90,000 depending on experience
