Are you ready to Be Your Best Barr None?
Lets Grow!!!
Are you ready to Be Your Best, Barr None? At AG Barr, we’re about more than just drinks; we’re about "Moments that Matter." With a 150-year legacy, we build brands people love—from the iconic IRN-BRU and Rubicon to the energising Boost, Funkin cocktails, and MOMA oat drinks.
We are a responsible business that values diversity, supports our communities, and works hard to reduce our environmental footprint. There’s never been a better time to join the family.
What we’re looking for…
Our number one priority in the Marketing department is to build brilliant brands that consumers love to drink.
Our Assistant Brand Managers will bring their experience to execute best in class brand activations that increase brand awareness, strengthen brand equity, and drive business growth. You will build and protect our exciting brands and grow market share within the category segment and Barr Soft Drinks portfolio.
Our ideal candidate will have a good level of understanding of consumer behaviour, excellent project management skills, broad experience across the comms mix, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
As Assistant Brand Manager your responsibilities will include;
Champion the Consumer
- Develop a deep understanding of the brand, category trends, and shopper behaviour through data, social listening, research, and insight.
- Act as the voice of the UK&I consumer, ensuring their needs are central to all decision-making.
Manage Brand Equity
- Maintain and take full ownership of the brand's integrity across all consumer touchpoints, including packaging and brand assets.
- Work closely with the Shopper Marketing team to deliver seamless, through the line brand campaigns, ensuring best in class execution in-store.
Activate the Brand Plan
- Support Marketing Managers in both the development and execution of annual brand campaigns and overarching strategies.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with the management and optimisation of the diverse product portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Category teams to identify and pursue category growth opportunities with key retailers.
Innovation & Project Management
- Partner with the Innovation and Insight teams to drive a continuous, insight led innovation pipeline and ongoing renovation of core product ranges.
- Ensure the excellent delivery of all innovation projects by providing best in class project management to hit all key milestones.
What you’ll bring...
- A Brand Storyteller: You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and circa 1–3 years in a brand-building or consumer-facing role. If you’ve worked in Food & Drink before, even better.
- A "Data-Driven" Creative: You’re comfortable diving into spreadsheets to find a trend, but you’re even better at turning those insights into actionable, "best-in-class" campaigns.
- A Project Powerhouse: From managing packaging tweaks to coordinating external agencies, you’re the person who keeps the plates spinning and never misses a milestone.
- The Voice of the Consumer: You’re naturally curious about why people buy what they buy. You’ll be our "in-house expert" on what makes the UK&I shopper tick.
- A Collaborative Spirit: You’ll be working across Sales, Innovation, and Shopper Marketing. You need to be a "people person" who knows how to bring teams together to get a win.
- Cultural Bravery: You aren’t afraid to suggest a bold idea. At AG Barr, we value those who are ready to Be Their Best, Barr None
What we offer…
