About the Role: This esteemed specialist practice has been supporting the local community for over 36 years and is known for providing exceptional, patient-focused care in a relaxed and friendly environment. With five clinical treatment rooms with modern equipment and the latest orthodontics technology, this clinic offers a wide range of orthodontic treatments including braces, Invisalign, Spark Clear Aligners, retainers and custom-made mouthguards for not only children and teens, but adults too. This role would be ideal for an orthodontist that has experience and knowledge in in Insignia/Damon (self-ligating braces) & sequential aligners, functional appliances (Forsus Springs), early-stage treatment plans and appliances. You'll join a team with a strong commitment to patient relationships, a solid reputation in the community, and a dedicated work ethic. • Collaborate effectively with the wider team to ensure the best patient care.
• Uphold the clinic's high standards of hygiene, professionalism and care.
• Foster strong relationships with patients and team members.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental best practice & maintain patient records.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans.
• Education patients on maintaining optimal oral health.
• Diagnose and assess alignment problems, bite issues and structural concerns in both adults and children.
• Provide orthodontic treatments such as fitting retainers, placing spacers and applying bands to teeth, fit, adjust and monitor braces other orthodontic appliances.
• Monitor and track patient progress.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Willingness to relocate to Australia.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with patients and collaborate with the team.

• Unrestricted APHRA specialist registration.
• Current professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
• Valid UK dental license with eligibility for Australian registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and associated working visas (with support from the client).
• Relevant specialist qualification recognized by the Dental Board of Australia.
• Experienced periodontist with strong experience in periodontics.
• Commitment to high standard of patient-centered care & strong clinical skills & standards.
