Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? We are seeking a Specialist SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and nurturing school community in Croydon

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher you will:

Teach and support pupils with a variety of SEN/SEMH needs across a range of abilities, delivering personalised learning tailored to individual needs.

Develop and implement differentiated lessons, communication strategies, and sensory-friendly approaches.

Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to create consistent, positive routines and learning experiences.

Promote emotional regulation, independence, and confidence through creative and structured teaching.

Contribute to the development of the school's autism provision and share best practices with colleagues.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

A qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) with experience in SEN or Autism support.

Passionate about inclusion, with a creative and flexible approach to teaching.

Skilled in communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or TEACCH (training can be provided).

Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with strong behaviour management skills.

Committed to helping every pupil achieve their potential - academically, socially, and emotionally.

A driver with some who can access a vehicle (desireable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
