About the role
The Tactical Capacity Executive is a shift-based position responsible for supporting the Tactical Capacity Manager and wider Integrated Planning team in the fast execution of transactional and system changes cross IAG Cargo’s network wide capacity. The role works as part of a team to transact decisions on the deployment of the right capacity at the right cost and in the right place to meet Commercial and Operational requirements as well as supporting with other flight administration activity. A key function of the role is also supporting with critical restrictions management to ensure oversight and compliance network wide.
What you’ll do
• Work as part of the Tactical Capacity and Integrated Planning teams to transact and execute at speed network decisions across IAG Cargo’s systems to optimise internal and external capacity utilisation.
• Develop expertise in IAG Cargo’s system functionality, using this core knowledge to enable performance optimisation within the Tactical Capacity and wider Integrated Planning teams.
• Maintain up-to-date system alignment and restrictions management for flight, freighter, and trucking capacity in accordance with the latest Integrated Planning decisions.
• Maintain key Optima functions (eg. customer group IDs, connection times, and handling codes) as well as well as other core system functionality to ensure Commercial and Operational readiness.
• Act as an enabler for key strategic changes, driving alignment and surfacing key data to inform decision making.
• Support the Tactical Capacity Manager to surface data that drives management of key external suppliers and helps optimise capacity utilisation.
• Ensure internal and external capacity complies with customs frameworks in relevant countries across the IAG Cargo network.
• Work with offshore teams to ensure fast execution of administration and tactical system activities are provided in agreed team and at agreed service levels.
• Management of ad hoc restriction as well as flight administration and setup functions with clear audit trails and within defined SLAs.
• Support the wider Integrated Planning team as required to implement changes to the operating and commercial plan during short-term disruption. Record key decisions to support post-disruption review and feedback loops into upstream planning teams.
• Support the delivery of transformational changes, using expertise in core system functionality to maximise contribution and operational performance

Skills and Experience:
• Experience in real-time operations, logistics coordination, or capacity management
• Familiarity with air cargo or transport logistics
