Regional Manager (Soft Services)
- Have the day-to-day responsibility for quality performance on the various contract with respect to cleaning.
- Assist in the management and monitoring of the operation of the contract and ensure compliance with the contract specification.
- Apply quality control procedures to ensure the maintenance of high standards of service.
- Assist in effective management within budgetary constraints.
- Full management control of people resources and responsible for implementing disciplinary actions up to and including dismissal of staff
- Have direct reports in a specified geographic area (40-70 approx)
- Be responsible for in the region of 50 to 70 buildings within their specified geographic area Financial responsibility:
- Financial responsibility (Amount in £s and type of Budgets e.g. people, projects etc and whether they have indirect or direct responsibility for the finances to be added in to Additional Information)
- Identifies ways to reduce cost.
- Work within a given budget, usually without authorised spending of their own. Any offer of employment will be subject to gaining full security vetting clearance (NPPV2 as will need access to sites).
- Able to prioritise effectively and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Highly organised and detail conscious.
- Ability to demonstrate strong personal integrity and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong leadership style with a focus on supporting and developing employees and colleagues.
- Taking responsibility for the area and proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to meet customer or business needs.
- Ability to travel from site to site as required to meet the needs of the business.
