Afternoon Nanny in Hackney, Job ID J2097B
This warm and friendly family based in Hackney, London, is looking for a reliable and kind after-school nanny for their two school-aged children. Someone who speaks German is a bonus. All general Nanny duties are required in this role. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organised individual who can liaise and communicate with the children's teachers regularly and give feedback to the parents. They will not be needing any help during the summer holidays coming up so great for a nanny who plans to travel this summer. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Duties include:
- collecting the children from school
- helping with homework
- preparing meals and snacks
- arranging playdates
- helping with homework
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the children
- tidying away their toys after use – children to help
- helping with the evening routine, eg help children organise bags for the next day
- light laundry of children’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
