Role Overview:
As an Events Tradeshow Advisor II, you will be an integral part of our client's marketing initiatives. Your expertise will drive the planning, execution, and evaluation of a variety of marketing events, including customer seminars, user conferences, and trade shows. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage diverse tasks independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Logistics: Initiate, manage, and execute logistics for marketing events, ensuring seamless coordination from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up.
- Collaboration: Work closely with corporate communications, regional marketing managers, and business leaders to ensure cohesive event promotion and lead generation.
- Project Management: Oversee sub-projects and coordinate cross-functional teams, escalating issues promptly to stakeholders as needed.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with event partners throughout the event lifecycle, from kickoff to reporting.
- On-Site Management: Provide on-site support during events, ensuring all activities run smoothly and professionally.
- Strategy Development: Assist in the development of event marketing strategies and recommend key components such as agendas, speakers, and venues.
- Survey Analysis: Assess survey feedback regarding event planning and execution to identify areas for improvement.
- Control Books: Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive control books for each event to ensure all details are documented and organised.
- Executive Support: Aid in executive-level communication and reporting, contributing to enterprise-wide briefings and entertainment initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in event planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of four years of experience in event planning or related fields, showcasing a strong understanding of marketing events and trade shows.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for engaging diverse audiences.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of events are meticulously planned and executed.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with a focus on delivering results.
