Night Warehouse Operative - with FLT
Contract : Full time
Weekly hours : 40
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Night Warehouse Operatives with Counterbalance Forklift experience to support night shift warehouse operations. The role involves picking and packing orders as well as operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack orders using pick lists
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to load and unload vehicles
- Move and store stock safely within the warehouse
- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation
- Carry out basic quality checks on picked items
- Assist with general warehouse duties including stock handling and replenishment
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence required
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role preferred
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy warehouse environment
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
Working Hours
- Night shifts
- 10:00pm to 7:30am
- Any 5 days out of 7 on a rotating weekly rota
- Shifts may include Monday to Friday, Sunday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Saturday depending on the rota
