Commercial Finance Manager - Global Travel Retail

Job Introduction

This role business partners the GTR Head of Marketing and supports the business to achieve its financial, commercial and brand building objectives by taking responsibility for controls and governance of investments as well as driving NRM insights and recommendations that are aligned to the business’ strategy.

Working in the GTR Commercial Finance team is the opportunity to work with both Marketing and Commercial teams, across the global market, on our global brands.

Main Responsibility
  • Shape and deliver the GTR pricing strategy, ensuring it is aligned to global benchmarks and domestic market direction while delivering sustainable profit growth
  • Central coordination of the annual pricing cycle, enabling RMs and Regional CFMs to execute price rise and communicate effectively to customers
  • Ownership of GTRs rolling budget, accurately reporting each month and tracking R&O’s across the channel
  • Become a trusted advisor to your Marketing Team and partner with the GTR Head of Marketing to deliver brand, commercial and financial objectives
  • Produce or improve insightful reporting and analysis to your business partners
  • Lead A&P planning, budgeting, LE and 5YP, in line with the Group Finance Calendar and Group Finance processes, ensuring collaboration with the local leadership and functional teams to deliver robust plans

You will have excellent financial acumen with accuracy and compliance embedded in everything that you do, coupled with the ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse group of stakeholders across the globe. You will be used to operating in a very dynamic environment with regular and tight deadlines. You will be solution-orientated, with a get up and go attitude, proactively suggesting and implementing new ways of working to improve our efficiency and effectiveness. Experience working in a commercial finance environment will accelerate your route to effectiveness in this role.
