About the Company

Our client is a well-known and truly unique retail business, specialising in luxury fashion and restaurants and making these accessible to everyone. The company now has an opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join its well-respected legal team.

The Opportunity

Whilst the role is broadly general commercial in nature, you will have the opportunity to develop a relationship and work closely with the marketing team. The business has a highly entrepreneurial ethos and has gone through significant change over the last two years; it is now able to offer its international client base a truly digital experience, in addition to its more traditional retail experience. As a result, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in supporting marketing and digital – this will involve working with clients in the luxury space. In addition, you will be part of the commercial legal team and work across a wide range of other commercial matters. This is a role which offers genuine development opportunities for a lawyer at an early stage in their career. It is also excellent opportunity to work with a highly successful international retail business and as part of a collegiate and business facing legal team.

About you

Th position will suit a commercially minded and pro-active lawyer interested in joining an international and entrepreneurial consumer business with a luxury focus. You will need to be able to demonstrate sound commercial contracting skills, an understanding of marketing and digital matters as well as some exposure to data privacy. A keen interest in marketing would be very welcome. The ability to build a strong relationships as well as an awareness of what is required when working with an international brand is also key.
