Company Secretary Assistant – London
I am partnering with a leading real estate investment and asset management business to appoint a highly organised Company Secretarial Assistant into its Corporate Services team. This full-time, in-office role supports the Group Company Secretary and Head of HR, offering the opportunity to work across a sophisticated governance framework and gain exposure to a broad portfolio of UK entities. It is ideal for a detail-driven candidate seeking to deepen their company secretarial expertise within a dynamic real estate environment.
**Please note that this role requires office attendance five days per week**
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of management, executive and subsidiary meetings
- Prepare agendas, collate papers, draft minutes and track approvals/actions
- Maintain statutory records and support corporate record management and audits
- Update and maintain the group's corporate structure chart
- Assist with Topco board packs and compliance requirements
- Manage filings for a small portfolio of entities, including annual accounts and confirmation statements
- Advise internal stakeholders on approval thresholds and governance processes
- Provide ad hoc company secretarial support as required
Key Skills:
You will have at least two years' corporate experience, strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. A degree-law advantageous-plus strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills are essential. You will be proactive, organised, calm under pressure and keen to develop, ideally with interest in CGI studies.
