About the Role
As the incoming Primary Teacher , you will lead a bright, friendly Year 2 class supported by a capable TA and a well-resourced KS1 team. The school offers:
Clear assessment systems and weekly PPA with your partner teacher
Strong phonics provision (Little Wandle) with CPD available
A focus on building independence and resilience across KS1

Candidate Requirements
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who can bring:
Recent KS1 experience (Year 1 or Year 2 preferred)
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and end-of-year assessments
Excellent behaviour management rooted in consistency and positive relationships
High expectations of progress, presentation, and attitude
The ability to work collaboratively within a two-form entry structure
ECTs are welcome to apply if they have relevant KS1 experience and strong references.
Contract Details
Start Date: 5 January 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with the potential to go permanent)
Structure: Standard teaching duties (planning, marking, assessment)
Pay: Competitive daily rate - the school is open to strong candidates' expectations
