Sales & Marketing Manager – Hospitality & Events

We’re looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to join the team at this standout London venue with an exceptional reputation.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead the venue’s sales and marketing activity — combining proactive business development with smart, creative marketing. You’ll manage a team of four , drive revenue growth, and make sure our venue stays front of mind for clients.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on targets, creativity, and building brilliant relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales & Business Development
- Lead proactive and reactive sales projects to drive revenue
- Manage, coach and develop a team of four
- Upsell effectively to increase average spend per client
- Use Rendezvous event software to manage enquiries and sales pipelines
- Organise and host client familiarisation and promotional events
Marketing & Brand
- Own all email marketing: newsletters, news stories and blogs
- Create tailored packages for different customer groups
- Keep the website fresh, visually engaging and reflective of our premium offering
- Manage all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Yapster) with daily, reputation-driven content
- Deliver marketing campaigns that maximise return on investment
- Manage the marketing budget and report on performance monthly
- Chair monthly marketing meetings, planning at least three months ahead
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and internal teams
- Ensure seamless communication to support smooth event delivery
About You
- Proven management experience in venue, hospitality or events sales
- Experience working with colleges or large venues
- Strong sales instincts with solid marketing knowledge
- Confident, approachable and highly organised
- Commercially focused with an eye for opportunity
