About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Parking Enforcement Officer to help ensure compliance with parking regulations across a range of designated sites. This role involves monitoring car parks, promoting responsible parking, and providing a professional and helpful service to customers and visitors.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining safe, well-managed parking facilities while representing the organisation in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
Patrol assigned car parks and surrounding areas to monitor compliance with parking regulations.
Issue Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) where vehicles are in breach of site rules.
Provide clear guidance and assistance to customers, visitors, and staff regarding parking policies.
Record enforcement activity accurately using handheld enforcement devices.
Monitor signage, equipment, and general site conditions and report any issues as required.
Respond professionally to customer enquiries and manage challenging situations calmly and respectfully.
Maintain a visible presence on site to encourage compliance and deter misuse of parking facilities.
Follow all procedures, health and safety guidelines, and data protection requirements at all times.
Skills and Experience
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Confidence when interacting with members of the public and handling difficult situations professionally.
Basic IT skills to operate handheld devices and reporting systems.
Previous experience in enforcement, security, or a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential as training may be provided.

Other Requirements
Full UK driving licence.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
