Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Drywall Sector
Location: Liverpool Street, London (EC2M)

The Role
My client are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in the drywall sector to join a specialist team delivering high-specification projects across London. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious developments, managing costs and commercial performance from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing and managing cost estimates, bills of quantities, measurements, and valuations for drylining, partitions and ceiling packages.

* Overseeing procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring competitive and timely delivery.

* Managing interim valuations, variations, final accounts and cost reporting.

* Carrying out value engineering to maximise efficiency without compromising quality.

* Supporting the tendering process, including preparation, review and evaluation.

* Liaising with project teams, clients and consultants to ensure accurate and transparent commercial management.

Essential:

* Qualified Quantity Surveyor (RICS, CIOB or equivalent).

* Demonstrable experience in the drywall/drylining sector.

* Strong technical skills in measurement, estimating and cost control.

* Familiarity with JCT and/or NEC contracts.

* Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
