Role Overview: We are looking for a highly capable, proactive and experienced analyst to join our central insights team. The primary purpose of the role is to help in the creation of bespoke studies analysing key trends within the global beverage alcohol market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desk research for selected countries to support the in-market research team
- Quality checking of data and reports during the main reporting period
- Research, collation, and processing of macroeconomic data sets
- Company and brand research to support the central data analyst team
- Project management of the Innovation catalogue – a biannual record of new launches across 10 markets. Involving creation of excel templates, liaising with temporary resources who are collecting the data, reviewing and QC of inputs, creation of final deliverable.
- Overall support with Project management of Strategic studies
- Management of key tasks and timelines, including gathering input from research colleagues and other internal teams
- Modelling, analysis and sense-checking of complex data sets
- Interpretation of data and qualitative information to generate value-added insights
- Conversion of insights into a clearly expressed narrative, including text and data visualization
Skills & Experience:
- Research and analysis skills, finding key market information through both online and offline methods
- Project Management skills: Proven success in delivering projects to deadlines, outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent data literacy, and a high level of numeracy, ability to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal; able to articulate complex points in a clear, concise and analytical business style
- Excellent IT skills – Excel (advanced level would be an advantage), Word and PowerPoint; willingness and aptitude to learn new software skills
- Team player: able to work effectively within a small high growth company, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, informal and friendly environment
- Ability to prioritize, able to manage your time efficiently while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Clear thinker with proven ability to articulate complex issues into simple messages
- Qualifications to degree level, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
- An understanding of the beverage industry would be a bonus
- Fluency in English required additional language skills would be an advantage
