Architectural Designer (12 Month FTC)
- Execution, design, development and implementation of Stella McCartney stores worldwide.
- Support the design and development of new showroom/ office space
- Develop design intent packs for external partners on the execution of store globally.
- Review and approve specific drawings from 3rd party partners within the rollout process.
- Assist with negotiating with key suppliers, contractors, calendar management across all design and construction projects.
- Ensuring designs are cost-effective, in line with Budget and sustainable.
- Assist in reviewing business contracts.
- Build strong relationships and partner with the project management team.
- Work closely with the Director of Store Design and Visual Merchandising to ensure adherence to brand language and standard.
- Relate building design concepts to building codes, zoning ordinances and other external issues.
- Consult with manufacturers; research and propose materials and products.
- Prepare and create presentation drawings and/or graphics and otherwise to assist with presentations both internally and externally.
- Previous architecture design experience in Luxury brands, fit-out project management. Great understanding on in-house retail design process is preferred.
- Proficiency on both store concept design, rendering and fixture drawings.
- Ability to assist in managing and developing external relationships within but not limited Millworkers, GC, local architects, and external partnerships.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate internal relationships with regional offices and HQ team (commercial, legal, facility, VM, CID, Finance, etc)
- Sound understanding and knowledge of all related Health & Safety regulations.
- Technically competent, ability to read, assess and apply design specifications
- Good understanding of property management, lease obligation and maintenance
- Excellent time and project management, design quality control skills
- Experience in store planning, layouts, merchandising, and translation of flagship Retail concept into secondary stores and shop in shop roll outs is preferred.
