A Message from the Hiring Manager

Hi, I’m Caoimhe — I lead Talent Acquisition at BKL.

We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn, loves working with people, and wants to get hands-on with recruitment. You’ll help run campaigns, support candidates, and shape how we show up as an employer. It’s a busy, varied role with loads of opportunity to grow — and you’ll be part of a supportive, friendly team.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, I’d love to hear from you.

Your Opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity to get hands-on with recruitment, build your skills, and make a real impact in a friendly, fast-paced team that’s passionate about people .

How You’ll Make a Difference

In this role, you will:

  • Take ownership of scheduling interviews, ensuring smooth coordination between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Source candidates directly using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and proactive outreach.
  • Screen candidates against the role criteria and ensure they are a strong fit for BKL.
  • Maintain and update our LinkedIn presence, promoting roles and employer branding.
  • Oversee all trainee recruitment, including planning and executing assessment days.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure timely communication and feedback loops with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Keep the ATS updated and assist with recruitment reporting.
  • Promote the organisation as an employer of choice through events and initiatives.

You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You Have:

  • Recruitment agency experience.
  • An understanding of recruitment processes and direct sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A flexible day-to-day focus and happy to shift between changing business priorities.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Confident communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

We know you have a lot to offer, which is why we give you the freedom to thrive, no matter who you are or what your background is.
