Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers is looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates to join our trainee teaching assistant SEN programme. This programme is for people wanting to start a career in education, wirh a specific interest in the SEN division, with no previous experience needed. All the training necessary is provided and free of charge!

About the role

The programme is comprised of a paid placement in a school and online training.
You will be assigned a consultant to support you through the training and to answer any questions you might have.
Successful completion of the programme is likely to lead to long term employment
Once completed you will be qualified as a teaching assistant and will be able to work in primary schools across London with Smart Teachers

Schools have good transport links and many schools have parking available

Schools may provide additional training for successful candidates

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant - September you will:

Two recent references
Be willing to complete online training
Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
