Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll take the lead in running daily production operations, ensuring high standards are consistently met:

• Manage and motivate a team of production operatives

• Monitor line performance to hit daily targets

• Maintain compliance with BRC, HACCP, and Health & Safety standards

• Oversee setup, operation, and cleaning of salad washing and packaging machinery

• Accurately record production data, downtime, and shift reports

• Troubleshoot technical and staffing issues as they arise

• Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

• Deliver clear pre- and post-shift handovers

• Support training and development across your team

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste

What we’re looking for:
We’re after a proactive leader who thrives in fast-moving environments:

• Proven experience in food production or FMCG manufacturing

• Supervisory or leadership background is essential

• Knowledge of food safety, BRC, and hygiene protocols

• Hands-on experience with automated production lines

• Strong communicator with team management skills

• Computer literate with good reporting ability

• Physically fit and comfortable in chilled environments

• Forklift truck licence desirable

• Flexible approach to working rotating shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
