Tottenham: Immediate start SEND Teaching Assistant role
A welcoming primary school in Tottenham is looking to appoint a new SEND Teaching Assistant to start ASAP within their support staff team, working with children across the primary key stages and of all abilities.As a SEND TA working full-time, you'll support children with special educational needs and disabilities by leading small groups and 1:1 sessions, delivering learning interventions; planning these based on the progress of your key children. Prior experience working with children with SEND is important as you will also be supporting non-verbal children through Speech and Language activities, as well as providing support for children with EHCPs to help them reach their targets.
Working alongside a friendly and likeminded team of dedicated support staff, you will collaborate with your colleagues to deliver the diverse and exciting curriculum, ensuring each child is able to fully access it and can reach their full potential.
Located in North London, this Tottenham primary school has lots of opportunities for training and career development and is a great place for any SEND Teaching Assistant to further their career. There are great transport links to this school, as well as parking available.This is a long-term SEND TA position likely to last until the end of the academic year in July, allowing you to see the progress your key children make across the school year as a result of your support.
