Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a professional and welcoming service.

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently and courteously.

  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

  • Provide general administrative support to the wider school office.

  • Assist with student attendance processes and record-keeping where required.

  • Support the coordination of meetings, appointments, and school communications.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (school experience desirable).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Competency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.

  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality expectations within a school setting.
