Our Yard is looking for enthusiastic Garden Volunteers to help maintain and develop our vibrant community garden.
This is a fantastic opportunity to spend time outdoors, meet new people, learn new skills and contribute to a welcoming green space that benefits the local community. Whether you're an experienced gardener or complete beginner, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Help with general gardening tasks including planting, weeding, watering and harvesting
Support the ongoing maintenance and development of the community garden
Assist with caring for plants, raised beds, composting areas and garden equipment
Help keep the garden safe, tidy and welcoming
Share ideas and contribute to new gardening projects
Work alongside staff, volunteers and local residents
What We're Looking For
Interest in gardening, nature or community projects
Positive and reliable attitude
Willingness to work outdoors
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
No previous experience required
