Sales Assistant/Keyholder - Full-Time - Leicester Square
Socktopus is opening another store and needs a brilliant team to bring it to life. LONDON , we're coming for you (again!).
We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Assistant to join us as we open our newest store in Leicester Square.
What the Sales Assistant will be doing:
- Welcoming customers and helping them find their perfect pair of socks - yes, that's genuinely the job!
- Sharing your product knowledge with confidence and a bit of personality
- Keeping the shop looking sharp - tidy, well-stocked, and visually on point
- Processing transactions accurately on the till
- Handling customer queries and complaints with calm, solution-focused energy
- Supporting stock receiving, replenishment, and back-of-house organisation
- Helping with visual merchandising and product displays
- Feeding back customer and product insights to the wider team
- Opening and closing the store as needed
- Following asset protection and compliance procedures
What Socktopus is looking for:
- Retail experience
- A genuine love of great customer service
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people
- A team player who can also hold their own independently
- Good organisational skills and solid attention to detail
- Comfortable with tills and basic computer systems
- Flexible availability, including weekends and varied shifts
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 10kg
