HLTA - SEN Support

Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: From £120 per day, depending on experience Apex Educ8 are looking for a Highly Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / HLTA to join a school in Ealing. This role would suit an experienced education professional who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and can take a proactive role in helping pupils access learning, manage behaviour and develop their independence. We’re looking for someone who can bring experience and confidence to the role, while working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to provide consistent support for pupils. Responsibilities * Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN * Support pupils with complex or additional learning needs * Lead and support learning activities under the direction of teaching staff * Help pupils develop communication, independence and confidence * Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation * Adapt activities and approaches to meet individual pupil needs * Build strong professional relationships with pupils, teachers and support staff * Provide guidance and practical support to less experienced members of the team where appropriate * Contribute to a positive, inclusive and well-structured learning environment Requirements * Significant experience working with children or young people with SEN * Strong understanding of SEN support strategies * Experience supporting pupils with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour * Confident working independently and as part of a wider team * Excellent communication and organisation skills * Calm, consistent and proactive approach * HLTA qualification or equivalent experience is desirable What Apex Educ8 offers * From £120 per day, depending on experience * Full-time, long-term opportunities * Weekly pay * Dedicated support from the Apex Educ8 team * Access to a range of education vacancies * Temp to perm opportunities, subject to compliance checks Apply now to be considered for this opportunity.
